Freshman Student Admission
A Freshman student willing to join U must be a graduate or should be expected to graduate from an accredited high school before he enrolls to the Utah University.
Students need to apply for Admission by completing and returning the Application for Undergraduate Admission to the Admissions Office by the said deadline. A $35 processing fee is charged for the application. Applying students should see to it that the necessary arrangement to have an official high school transcript has been mailed to the Admissions Office. To prove that the transcript is genuine it has to be mailed directly from the school and it must indicate the expected graduation date.
Students who are applying should submit their ACT scores, (SAT scores are also accepted, although ACT scores are preferred). Students are obligated to take the ACT near the end of their junior year or early in the senior year of high school. Taking Residual ACT from the Utah University Testing Center becomes must if a student fails to take the ACT on a national date.
